Convide Working Group Meeting 2026

From 26-27 April 2026, the Convide Working Group Meeting 2026 took place at the Vorhoelzer Forum in Munich — an amazing rooftop location with a spectacular view all the way to the Alps.

Over two productive days, forty researchers from Karlsruhe, Mannheim, Dresden, and Munich came together to exchange ideas, discuss current challenges, and come up with new collaboration opportunities. Once again, the BarCamp format created an open and interactive atmosphere where participants could actively shape the discussions and bring in their own topics.

Some highlights of the meeting included:

• Cross-cutting research discussions and breakout sessions
• New ideas for interdisciplinary collaboration
• Interactive retrospectives and feedback sessions
• Fun conversations beyond the official program

Naturally, networking continued in a more traditional Bavarian setting during our social dinner at the famous Augustiner Keller beer garden 🍻
